ISO: JimC , Ginger Ale ??????

Misc.
JimC, Would love to try this for my hubby. He is a ginger ale freak. A couple questions. Do I grate the ginger root?? Are you saying 2 pieces of lemon rind, or pieces from 2 lemons?? Sure would be interesting to give this a try. Have you tried it? If so, does it really taste like the real thing such as Vernors?? Thanks, Bonnie Ohio
