ISO: kipfel

I am in search of an old family recipe for Kipfel. My mother-in-law would make these cookies when my husband was little, but the recipe has been lost. She made Kipfel with a walnut filling, unfortunatly that is all I know about the recipe. Any such recipes would be greatly appreciated.
