ISO: La Madeleine's Tomato-Basil Soup - question

I was working in Texas back in the late 90's and ate at La Madeleine's every chance I got, loved the tomato-basil soup!
I asked a cook there about the ingredients and he said lemon was one of them but it is not mentioned here in this recipe; strange. I could taste the lemon in the soup, seemed to be the lemon and basil that made it so great! Are they holding out on their secret ingredient?!
I add lemon and basil to any basic creamy tomato soup and it's amazing!
I would love to know if lemon is in fact an ingredient or was back in 1997-1998!
