ISO: Old Fashion Cherry Bars

I have been looking for a recipe for Cherry Bars that my mom made when I was young. The crust and crumbled topping had butter, flour, oatmeal, sugar and some salt. The filling was with a can of sour pitted cherries. The juice was drained and mixed with corn starch, sugar and almond flavoring. I can remember most of the ingredients but not the amounts. Does anyone "please" have this recipe. Would appreciate it very much.
