Recipe: Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang Fudge

CHITTY-CHITTY BANG-BANG FUDGE

2 cups sugar
4 tbsp cocoa
1/4 lb butter (or margarine)
2 tsp light corn syrup
1 small (5 oz) can evaporated milk
1 tsp water
chopped nuts (optional)

Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan and stir over low heat. Cook to soft ball stage when dropped in cold water.

Beat by hand until mixture loses gloss. Chopped nuts can be added.

Pour into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Cut into pieces. Cool.
