ISO: Persimmon pulp - canning question

I would like to know if persimmon pulp can be canned. I have an abundance of persimmons and my freezer space is limited right now. (Don't think I will be able to eat enough food to make space before the season is over!)I love to make cookies and breads with it year round. Thanks for any help.
