ISO: pierogi question!

Barry: That's almost identical to my Grandma Witko's recipe for pierogis -- except she mixed the potato filling and the cottage cheese filling together. (Is that what your recipe indicates? It seems like you might be saying to use potato filling in some, and the cottage ch. filling in others.)

Also, have you ever used farmer cheese instead of cottage cheese? I seem to remember her using one or the other depending on what was available.
