Ha! That should settle it. Thanks to everyone who responded. I was beginning to doubt my own heritage. I'm going to look at that polish journal web site, too. I take every opportunity I can to go to local polish festivals, picnics, etc. It's so nostalgic; all of the polish cooks in my family are now eating pierogis in heaven.
