ISO: Raspberry cottage cake

Raspberry Cottage Cake. On PBS "Great Chefs" a few years ago, a female chef in Chicago made this no-bake cake in a spring-form pan by buttering bread (both sides) and layering in the pan with slightly juicy fresh raspberries, sugar, more buttered bread, raspberries, sugar and so on. The spring-form pan was quite deep. She finished off the top with more buttered bread, and then placed a plate on top with a weight to compress the layers. I think she refridgerated overnight. She served it with some of the remaining raspberries/juice. Did anyone see this or have the recipe? Many thanks!!
