ISO: Sailor Jacks (Muffins)

Misc.
I am looking for a receipe for "Sailor Jack" muffins which I purchased at the bakery at Market of Choice, a grocery store in Oregon. I found one receipe on another site but they came out like a cake and tasted nothing like the real thing.

It is a dense muffin with molasses, raisins, lots of spices (all spcie, cloves, etc. could be ginger). I know I could order these from the store but I live far away and would love to make them myself.

I look forward to a reply.
