ISO: wheat berry salad

I lived in northern Alberta + Manitoba for quite a few years, and while there had the pleasure to try "Wheatberry Salad" quite a few times. Fabulous! It was usually described as a Ukranian dish, and was quite sweet, my kids and I ate it as a dessert. The ingredients that I am sure of are wheatberries(I think they were also called "kasha" by some people), pineapple, cream cheese and whipped cream. If anyone has a recipe similar to this I would greatly appreciate learning about it.
