ISO: White Wine Cream Soup

My husband is a career soldier and we spent many years in Germany. We had the most wonderful white wine cream soup there in a little town called Giebelstadt at Schenkenbach's Gasthaus. The proprietors also owned a bakery and catering business. I would love to get a recipe for this soup and surprise my husband who loves it!
