ISO: Xmas Fruit Cake Problem

I have a problem. I made xmas fruit cake in loaf pans. the recipe said 2 1/2 hrs. As a result the cakes were overcooked. They were over cooked and are very dry. Is there anything that I can do with these other than throwing them away.? Thanks for any help I can get. Linda
