Thank You: Chef Ayala - got another question, please?

I have been told that if I use the Wilton's buttercream (Wilton says the iced cake can be stored at room temp. for 2-3 days), and a a strawberry filling of strawberry preserves and fresh sliced strawberries that I don't have to refrigerate the cake at all! That it will be OK even at room temperature and made the day before the party.
Please, what are you comments on this? I appreciate all your ideas, thank you in advance!
