ISO: Question about refrigerating cakes
Misc.I will be filling a 2 layer cake with sliced strawberries and covering the whole cake with buttercream. Note: They cake will be refrigerated so that the fruit filling does not spoil. I have been told that the buttercream will "seal" the cake and keep it moist inside. Is there anything else I should do? I am scared that when I serve it, it will be hard inside.
