Thank you Betsy and Gladys, you are so good to try and ease my frustrations...lolllll!
Betsy, the recipe, in my foggy memory,filed away somewhere, is something i may never have again ie: the original, and gladys, the idea about grapenuts in the flour, sounds vaguely familiar!!!! thanks!
I think, you were to sprinkle them over the batter, wait so many minutes, and then they slowly sank in....i hope that makes sense to you...great tip, thank you...you girls sound like great cooks, if you didn't coat them with flour, they would sink in to fast...right? I'm gonna give it a try...xxx ooooo
