SAUSAGE-GARLIC BREAD KABOBS
1/2 pound mild Italian sausage links, cooked and cut into 1-inch pieces
16 (1-inch) cubes French bread
16 (1/2-inch-thick) slices yellow summer squash (or zucchini)
2 tablespoons purchased garlic butter-type spread, melted
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preheat grill to medium.
Alternately thread sausage, bread and squash evenly onto 4 (12- to 14-inch) metal skewers.
In small bowl, combine melted garlic spread and parsley; brush over kebabs.
Place kebabs on gas grill or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook about 6 minutes or until vegetables are tender and bread is
golden brown, turning once.
Makes 4 kabobs
