Thank You: Manesta

30 years ago, a friend invited me over to have dinner at his mother's house. She prepared this dish (Manesta)and it was one of the best meals I had ever had. As years passed by, I have thought of that meal often, lost contact with this friend and wondered if I would ever enjoy this again. I have asked about it in numerous Greek eateries and not a one knew what I was talking about. I finally had an opportunity to purchase some lamb and some Orzo. I will try to copy Karen's recipe. My mouth is watering for it already. I was beginning to wonder if Manesta was a name that was exclusive to my friend's family. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
