What a wonderful idea! But,I don't get it. Doesn't the salt dissolve with the addition of the liquid smoke, even if it's only a small amount? I think I will have to try this - fool around with it. Also, I had (think I still have) a recipe for a cheese ball or spread using smokey or smoked salt that my college roommate gave me way, way back in the '70's. I'll post the recipe if you are interested and, if I can find it.
