Thank You: Southern Corn Bread

Thank you so much Betsy, I was raised on this kind of corn pone to. This is so close to the one my mother always made, I didn't know that cornbread had sugar in it until I got married to a PNW native. She also used this in her fabulous cornbread stuffing for turkey. Just make as much cornbread as you need and cube it up after it has cooled add all the fixin as you were making bread stuffing.
