Thank You: wheat germ or bran or ???

Misc.
Hi Janet,

I'm sure it wasn't a nut product because he brought out a sample for me to taste. It was brown and had a crunch like that of cornflakes (?). the first impression I had was wheat germ/bran. But I obviously didn't guess right. I'm not familiar with all the wheat products that can be added to bread so I don't know what it could be. I just know that it didn't have that nutty taste from a nut. It just added a wonderful taste and texture to the bread that we ate for breakfast. I'm dying to find out what it really was. I think I have to contact the hotel again to find my answer.

Thanks for replying.
