Last week I ate ground turkey in Zatarain's Dirty Rice Mix..had cubed ham in the Jumbalaya mix, but both were excellent. Easy to fix, too - just brown the turnkey (or whatever) and then add both turkey and rice mix to boiling water. Simmer for 25 minutes. The Dirty Rice wasn't quite spicy enough (added parmesan and parsley, for starters) and the Jumbalaya was a bit on the red-spicy side. They both need vegetables, IMO, I added stir fry vegetables directly to the rice mixture after cooking and it was very good. Broiled garlic toast and applesauce are simple sides that I thought were tasty.

Just a suggestion, not a recipe, sorry!

BUT, if you're interested, I do have recipes for New Orleans Dirty Rice and several Gumbo recipes that could include ground turkey!
