A Wonderful Meal

Misc.

Joy, the aroma of the roast cooking with the onions, was intoxicating. The sent traveled through my boyfriends two bedroom apartment, out the door, and down the block. This went on for hours. I loved it! I added carrots and celery to the pot just before the last hour of roasting, and made lots of creamy, buttery mashed potatoes. I also prepared hot rolls. The finished product was perfect. My boyfriend left the table, full, satisified, and impressed. Thank you very much.
We had strawberry ice cream and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I did not do the Bananas Foster tonight, but I will soon. I had this delicious dish for the first time in June, while aboard a cruise ship. I'm so glad I have the recipe. Thanks again.
