CHOCOLATE SKILLET SAUCE1/4 cup butter
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 (6-ounce) package (1 cup) Nestl Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
Melt butter in a large skillet.* Add nuts and cook until browned, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat
Add Nestle Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels and stir until morsels melt and mixture is blended.
Serve warm over ice cream.
*This recipe maybe made in an electric skillet set at 350 degrees F.
BUTTERSCOTCH SKILLET SAUCE:
Substitute one (6-ounce) package (1 cup) Nestle Butterscotch Flavored Morsels for chocolate morsels.
MILK CHOCOLATE SKILLET SAUCE:
Increase butter to 1/2 cup and nuts to 2 cups. Substitute one (11 1/2-ounce) package (2 cups) Nestle Milk Chocolate Morsels for semi-sweet chocolate morsels. (Makes 2 1/2 cups sauce)
Makes 1 1/4 cups sauce
