Asian Slaw

When I went into a Japanese restaurant and had their Sunomono salad, I
also thought that it was daikon, but when I made it, it did not taste like
it at all....I found a cookbook called New World Noodles by Bill Jones and
Steven Wong and there was the recipe! We are from Vancouver, Canada and
this Salad is is all of the Japanese Restaurants. I am sorry but I have
not seen it in a Chinese Restaurant. I do not claim to be an expert (I am
Ukrainian) but I love Asian Food and have a lot of books on it. If you
would like to try it just to see, I will be more than willing to type
it out for you, as it is an awsome salad!
