Thank You: cathy: thanks for the recipes & more ->

Misc.

Cathy,

Thank you so much for the troubel to look up these recipes for me! The egg & soft tofu custard soup doesn't soukd like the one you described. It has one "raw egg" (you mixed it up yourself when you eat the soup), some very soft tofu (I feel it's softer than silken tofu but I may be wrong.), something tastes like kim chi (hot and spicy cabbage and mixed vegetables, not much though, clams with shells intacked. Does this ring a bell? This is the soup I have been searching for a long time. None of the clam or soft tofu custard soup recipes I got from the net is quite close yet. The Kim Chi Restaurant here in town has the best I'd ever tried! (Not even the fancy Sueol House in the city can beat this little shop's soup! It is just superb!)

However, I'd appreciate any Japanese soups or dishes from you as I know you are the expert in this area. (By the way, have you even tried to cook other cuisine such as Greek or French beisdes your traditional Japanese dishes? Just curious! ^_^) Thanks in advance for any help. Have a great Sunday! (I don't suppose you go to church like us, do you? ^_^)
