Carolyn, I Love the Story About Your Sweet Little Hamster!

Misc.
Hi Carolyn!

I just love the story about your sweet little hamster. Now, about her name is it Spanish for "little fresh one" or "little strawberry"? I love her name!! She sound so smart getting up with you in the morning waiting for her treat! She is something, ain't she?

Maybe you can take a pic of her and post it here for us to meet her. I used to have hamsters (among other classroom pets) in my classroom when I taught school. I've had birds, turtles, gerbils, a guinea pig, a bunny and a fishtank. Not all at the same time...but I always believed that children should be exposed to all sorts of pets in their young learning years. They loved them!

Let us know what you have been cooking lately? Anything new? Are you still walking? I am still walking and adding more each week. Now, I look forward to getting up in the morning and throwing an old t-shirt, shorts, socks and my sneakers. It takes me 45 minutes to walk 2 miles...I don't know if that is good or bad but I feel great when I get back home. I usually go right at 7:15AM and then when I get back I take a quick shower and then my day begins. I feel great that I get the walking out of the way so early in the morning.

Well, let me get going, dinner is almost done...

Hugs, Gina
