Mary, I have a Few Questions....

Misc.
Dear Mary,

Thank you for the information you shared. Now, about the Keflex, 80 ct. is that 80 count of pills? And if I ask my Dr. for Keflex, what milligrams should it be in? Does it come in capsules or tablets?

My cats does not have runny eyes or anything like that ...the sneezing has stopped with the regimen the vet put him on. When I took him yesterday for his re-check she told me that to find out for sure if he has a tumor she would have to sedate him to e-ray his head, do a cytology and aother things to the tune of $250.oo. I asked her then, "if it is indeed a tumor, what can be done"? and she said nothing. The tumor can grow fast or slow, he can live 2 months or 2 years.

So, I asked her, What happens, does he suffocate to death"? And she said, "no, they lose their sense of smell and stop eating".

I drove him and I thought long and hard...now this is a beautiful, 12 1/2 lb.s Maine Coon-looking cat who does not act sick. He started sneezing after his round of vaccinations last year (My mom thinks that's what made him sick). This is a cat that is tended to, gets his shots, his teeth cleaned, the whole 9 yards, etc. I have decided to not go to any vet, for any treatment. He takes meds quite well. I did notice at the vet that they tried to get a mucos specioment to culture so they put saline solution up his nose to see if he would sneeze, he didn't. But I believe the saline solution did him good as well as the antibiotics.

Bo will live for as long as he can and I will get this Keflex you are talking about. But I will not pay the vet money for the cat to die anyway. I really do not believe he has a tumor. I think I put too many of those smelly things in the sockets to make my house smell pretty and it is affecting his nose. I don't believe it is contagious either 'cause my other 2 cats don't have sniffles.

Please let me know what milligrams of Keflex I should ask my Dr. for. Also, tell me what Keflex is used for in humans...

Thanks so much for the info.
