Sweet Carolyn, You Are Too Much!!!

Misc.
Hi Carlyn,

Wow, spinach, lemons, antiques, yard sales, herbs...what else do we have in common? Did you ever mention cats? I love cats and frogs!!

Anyway, please do try the lemon cake, it is a dangerous one becauce you won't be able to stop at one slice. We enjoy the Korean Spinach at least once a week around here. I love that recipe!

I must try the rice vinegar with the sliced cukes, that sounds yummy.

I must be getting ready to take Bo (my male fuzzy cat) back to the vet out in Tampa for his check-up. I took him t a cat specialist 2 weeks ago because he had been sneezing constantly for the last year. Poor thing!! So....she prescribed Gentimcin eye drops (1 drop in each eye and in each nostril twice a day) and 1/4 tab of zithromax. He is such a god kitty taking his medications. She thinks it might be a tumor up in his nasal cavity but I don't believe that because he would be skinny and lethargic and sick, you know? I think it is either allergies (I did stop using those thingies you plug in the wall for good smells) or a cold.

In either case, I will let you know how today's visit goes. And one more thing, those prescriptions...they are human medicines. SHe charged me $30.oo for the little eye drop bottle made by Baush & Lomb and $40.00 for 3 zithromax pills that they quartered for me. If she prescribes them again, I will diplomatically tell her that I will get the Rx's from my doctor using my insurance. Can you believe those charges? Incredible!!

Hugs, Gina
