I just love cats, Gina! I would sooooo love to have one,

Misc.
but I can't because I am allergic.

I had cats all my life, and then I went for a few years without; after that, I cannot be in the same room or a house with the dander. After about 15 minutes, I start the most embarassing cacophony of symptoms you have ever heard.

My neighbour's had a cat that just passed away a few months ago. He was very territorial about my yard, too, and considered it an extension of his own. I live out in the country a bit, and we each have a 1/4 acre in my subdivision, so Fred's life was very full. We were all so upset when Fred died, two houses full of people all bummed out for days.

He was a lovely cat. Every once in a while, I would pick him up and give him a big bunch of love, and then come in the house and shower. I just couldn't resist!

Please do let us know how Bo makes out at the vet. Yes I can see how you would be distressed at the medicine costs. It is quite an outrage, really.

Have a lovely day, my friend,

Carolyn!

p.s. I have a hamster, her name is Frescesita. She does her best to live up to it, too.

Every morning, she gets up at the same time as me to get her breakfast: a little corner of my whole grain raisin toast, with peanut butter on it! I think she knows the alarm on the electronic toaster and waits for it. Or maybe she smells it toasting? Anyway, by the time the pb is being spread, she is ready and waiting for her share!
