Dixie--------Boric Acid

Misc.

Dixie,
I was so glad to read your post about Boric Acid and the eye wash.
I used this all the time as a kid with an eye glass? Something to be said about those old home remedies, that nobody knows about today, me either, wish I could remember some of them. Not to long ago I had an eye infection ( due to allergies ) and remembered the boric acid and decided to call the pharmacist to ask how much , etc., etc., He just couldn't believe I was asking a question like that and strongly suggested I didn't use the boric acid. I'm going to see if I can find out how to get this and how to use it again......it worked years ago !! We just didn't run to the doctors for every little thing, Mom knew how to fix our minor ailments. Well that and the fact that the doctor would come to your house, is a WHOLE other story. Thanks for taking me back in time !
I
