Elly, Info On Splenda....

Misc.
Hello Elly,

I use Splenda, the big yellow package that says No Calorie Sweetener. You can use it in place of sugar in baking and cooking. It measures, sweetens and pours cup for cup just like sugar.

I don't use their brand of brown sugar because I compared it to regular brown sugar and for some reason their brown sugar has more sugar and carb grams than regular brown sugar.

Check out www.splenda.com for delicious recipes.

By the way, I hope your DH is doing much better these days. My hubby also has to watch what he is eating for his good health to continue. His triglyceride and cholesterol levels have dramatically decreased since last August due to combined efforts in diet and exercise. I serve a huge salad with every meal and that has helped tremendously along with cutting out chocolate and ice cream. Now everything is low fat, no sugar...before long we will be eating "air"!

Take care Elly! Gina
