GINA, THE PLEASURE IS MINE

Misc.
Chiqui is a nickname in Guatemala... it is used for a boy or girl, man or woman. I was the youngest of all the grandchildren when I was given this nickname and Chiquita does mean littlest one. I have been called this since I was two years old and now at the age of 49 it still remains... Maria is my given name and most of my friends from church call me that, but I am mostly known as Chiqui.

Anyway, I hope my cookbook, "Cookery N'Orleans Style by Chiqui Pumilia Collier" will become your new "favorite" cookbook and I hope you can get the "flavor" of my family thru the stories. It is set up into 5 complete cookbooks within one book. Each chapter representing a different side of the family. It almost reads as a story book and I hope you will enjoy it!!

Thanks for all the wonderful recipes you have shared from your family... I have printed out almost all the recipes you have posted and plan on trying many of them the next time I have the opportunity to entertain.

God Bless,

Chiqui
