Halloween

Misc.

Kathy/Pa .... that's a LOT of trick or treaters. Years ago the development we lived in had a lot of 'extra' kids as we had street lights and sidewalks! So they brought them over. I know what you mean about different towns, townships, boros, etc. having different trick or treat days. I noticed, since we moved here almost 3 years ago, from the newspapers that they're trying to coordinate it.

When we lived in central NJ for about 10 years, they started to organize more parties - some school connected, some others and that really cut down on trick or treaters. I know if my kids were young now, I'd much rather have them at a supervised party than ringing doorbells. We dont always know all our neighbors these days. And even if you 'know' them -- you sometimes don't REALLY know them!
