Page, there's a whole scary Halloween story...

Misc.

I have it on tape, and it will take a while to type out. It has about eight different slimy body parts you make and pass around while you are telling the story. I don't mind typing it, but it would be pages long, and I don't want to take up Betsy's space. Any ideas how to share this? I'm going to use it this year for scouts. In our neighborhood, we have about 130 that come to the house, but lots of them are from out of area, even out of state! I used to give candy, but it ended up being candy for the current kiddies, and a couple for me when I shut the door, then a couple more, and more. So, we give out McDonald's coupons, 12 for a buck, and they are popular. That's what I send into school, too, for party treats for the class, rather than bags of candy. Our neighborhood is small and safe, and my husband takes them around to people we know, (we've lived here since 1983), and they come home with a bagful each. I check it before they eat it. Our school does a Halloween party, and the kids come dressed as a storybook character, and have to tell the story in class beforehand. Of course, we have lots of witches from the Wizard of Oz, and ghosts from various stories, but the intent is good. Guess I'd better get started on this year's costumes!
