Well what a pleasant surprise. It is so good to hear from someone at home and someone who understands what I was talking about. We use to go to Smileys every Friday , actually. We even convinced Peter the owner he should open in Sherwood Park where we actually lived so we wouldn't have so far to go. They did open one with some other partners ,but we found it wasn't the same . We didn't enjoy it. We missed the quaint atmosphere of the original one. Next time you go and you are enjoying the sezchuan beef the shrimp and the rest of the great menu there think of us. We can't wait to get home hopefully the end of the year. We are heading right for Smileys. Take care. Great to hear from you. Edmonton is definately the place to be. The west is where it's at.
