Hi Susan! re. melon pan...

Misc.
Hi Susan,

Since I've been traveling back and forth between NY and Tokyo since March, I've been having a blast enjoying the good stuff that's only available in Japan.

I just wanted to mention that the current rage in Japan is special melon pans -- the most popular is made by Takano in Shinjuku where people line up on average 2 hours for this store's specialty that actually contain musk melon creme inside. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to sample these special melon pans because I simply don't have 2 hours to stand in lines (I travel to Tokyo for business) so I guess I just have to wait for the craze to die down ...

Regards,

Cathy
