Here is a re-post of Debbie D's pizza casserole; I have not made it myself but she is a great cook that has often come to this site and I know that this recipe got rave reviews...
MRS. D.'S PIZZA CASSEROLE
1 pkg. pepperoni, sliced
1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
1 (12 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked
1 can mushrooms, drained (optional)
1 can of cheddar cheese soup
1 jar pizza sauce
1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded mozzarella cheese
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl separate the pepperoni and combine it with the ground beef, egg noodles, mushrooms, (if desired), cheddar cheese soup and pizza sauce. Taste it and see if it needs any salt and pepper. If it does, lightly salt and pepper the mixture.
Spray a 9x13-inch pan generously with PAM. Put the noodle/hamburger mixture in the pan. Put the grated cheese on top of the mixture. Cook for 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts.
This will serve many hungry teenagers. Since my kids at school don't like mushrooms, I leave them out.
When I take this dish to school there is NEVER any left. Kids and adults love it, except for my own child. This is the dish that the kids always request whenever we have any type of party--valentine's, graduation, etc. I hope that y'all will enjoy it, too!
