Misc.

I am growing pineapples! I started as you did with a store bought pineapple. It has been almost 2 years and I just picked my first fruit. It was golden yellow and firm. I thought it was ready, alas, it was little sour. I should have let it ripen longer. I'm looking forward to trying again next year. Maybe I'll get more than one!
