I hope everyone had as beautiful a day as we did today. Thanks to the instructions on how to do a perfectly done standing rib roast, I made my very first one for DH and me. They always intimidated me before this!

It was not only Christmas, but our 27th anniversary. Yes, we did get married on Christmas Day!

My menu was quite simple, but every single dish turned out perfectly for a change.

Menu:

Standing Prime Rib with Horseradish Sauce
Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Gravy and AuJus
Delicata Squash done with Nutmeg and Maple Syrup
Red Cabbage
Sister Schubert Rolls & REAL BUTTER
Wine
Apple Pie Ala Mode

Today was not a day we counted Weight Watcher points!

So thanks to all of you, from afar, who had a part in our dinner today...

Blessings on everyone and breath a sigh of relief - it's only 364 more days until Christmas!!
