I have had Dill Pickle Soup and just love it.

Misc.
Dear Marty: Hi my name is Sharon and I live in Florida, but I have had Dill Pickle Soup and just love it. I was born and raised in Michigan, and just outside of Detroit is a little town called Hamtramck. It is known as little Poland, with the most wonderful Polish restaurant. This is where I first tried this soup many years ago, it is an old polish custom to have this at Easter time as it is called the Easter soup. It was such a hit that they make it all of the time now not just on the holiday. I don't have the true receipt but I did get the one that you provided for this spot. When we come up to Michigan in the summer time to stay, we make it a point to head to that little hole in the wall restaurant called the Village Inn and have our favorite soup and Potato Pancakes what a meal. Everything there is great eating, but that is our favorite, so if your ever in the Detroit area ask where to find Hamtramck and go see for yourself. If you need anymore information please feel free to email me at
