I know I'm a cheater, but....

Some of the best marinades are already in your fridge, or on your grocer's shelf.

Salad dressings have all the right stuff, and you can see exactly what you're getting with regard to calorie count and fat, etc.

A little bit of wine, citrus, or wine vinegar makes a marinade that much more effective.

Sorry, I can't help you with the burger part, mine always fall apart unless I buy ready-made.

Also, Tanya's point about the beer and wine is good...for the non-drinkers, how about a non-alcoholic punch? Nice for the kiddies, too.

Prep as much in advance as possible so you can enjoy yourself, too.

Cheers!

Carolyn!
