I love Kay Gibbons!

I can't think of the names of any of her books, but I have read several and loved them - I get her and Ellen Gilchrist confused for some reason. And I have gone in bookstores before looking for books by Ellen Foster. Needless to say, I confused both the store clerk and myself!

I read Summer Sisters and was really disappointed in it. I guess because I grew up reading Judy Blume and thinking that she was the ONLY person who *really* understood me -- all that typical teenage angst. Let me know what you think of it.

Have you read White Oleander? Do you know what it's about?
