I know the saying, into every life a little rain must fall...but you have had quite a thunderstorm. Surely sunshine and rainbows are ahead. Do hope you and your husband are feeling much better.

I also love lilacs and miss them so much. Last spring I was able to see and smell the stragglers on my sisters bush, first I had seen in years. The longer I am in Florida, the more I miss the seasons, especially spring.
