Margaret, re: brown sugar in Sweet Potatoes

Margaret, Of course, you are allowed to ask as many questions as you would like. You can see how we all carry on about "this and that!" That is what makes it so much fun and interesting:-)!!
As far as the brown sugar is concerned, I'm not even sure why I use it...I guess that I think, rightly or wrongly, that maybe it gives it a little more depth of flavor. Whatever... it is by no means necessary to use it and I certainly wouldn't buy a box of brown sugar just to add it to this recipe. Welcome to TKL and post some of your favorite recipes. We all love having variety. This site is really a lot of fun and it's always fun to meet new people from all over the world!
