Just want to let you know that this sweet potato dish freezes well. I make it for the holidays and once everything is mixed, I put it in a greased casserole dish and seal with plastic wrap at least 2 layers, and place in the freezer. Then thaw the day before and bake as usual. And yes, do use brown sugar for the flavor and I also add a 1/2 teaspoon of ginger. So good.
