Mary - re: Sweet Potato Spoonbread

I was intrigued to find a spoonbread recipe that includes sweet potatoes. When I looked over the recipe prior to making the spoonbread, I found some information was missing.

The recipe doesn't indicate how much butter to use. The list of ingredients states "1/2 butter or margarine". It doesn't say if this is 1/2 stick, 1/2 cup, 1/2 pound or 1/2 tablespoon. - Mary
