Southern Spoon Bread

1 1/2 cups scalded milk
1/2 cup corn meal
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 egg
Stir dry ingredients in the milk. Add beaten egg and melted butter.
Bake in greased casserole 30 minutes in moderate oven (350-400 F).
