Neighbourhood bake off

We are having a friendly neighbourhood bake off between 1 other person and myself. So I am looking for a GREAT dessert to wow the neighbours. The other person is making a cheesecake so I don't need to make that. My only problem is that I am on a bit of a budget. I'm sure you wonderful ladies will be able to help me.
