I guess it would depend on where you are. They are also called "frend" lentil I THINK. I got them frequently at a place inSD called , names gone, sorry. Anyway a bulk food store or heath food store, Boney's in SD had them too. Haven't looked here so can't tell you.
Where so you buy your bulk beans? Surly they would have them, if not ask.
I like yellow split peas too and when I first started useing them they were hard to find but not anymore.
